What is Afterword? A private vault where you record the financial, estate, and personal information your family would need, and choose who receives it and when.
Is my information secure? Vault contents are encrypted before they are stored, using a key held separately from the database. You can also turn on app-based two-factor authentication in your settings for an extra layer of protection.
Can I get my information out? Yes. You can view your vault at any time and export it as a PDF.
How does delivery work? Your vault stays private until you schedule a delivery or a trusted contact requests one. There is a cancellation window before anything is sent, and you get a security alert whenever your recipient list changes.
How do I delete my account? You can delete recipients, vault contents, or your entire account from within the app. Deleting your account removes your vault contents, recipients, and profile.
